The Carabiner Pin was hidden in Club Penguin on August 13, 2010 in celebration of the Club Penguin Mountain Expedition, which launched the same day. The pin was placed on the main level of the Lighthouse, on top of the crate that holds the green buoy and right next to the box of instruments for sale. This pin follows the release of the Compass pin, which was also related to the Mountain Expedition.

This pin came out in August 13th 2010.. I wish this pin is still in the light house!!! Is there any CLUE of how to bring it back to the lighthouse??? Is there any secret like you have to click on somethings to open it again like in the stage to get the ruby ring
